James Dyson, vacuum aficionado for the last thirty-odd years, has shifted his focus from the wonderful world of vacuums to the exciting world of fans.  For your cooling enjoyment, the engineers at Dyson have created the sleek and innovative Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan. The bladeless fan transforms the experience of sitting in front of a fan, usually burdened by turbulent air buffeting, into a serene and relaxing alternative.

The reception, held on the ninth floor of a converted warehouse, provided guests with wine and hors d’oeuvres from Creative Edge Parties. As guests arrived, they had the opportunity to enjoy the food, music and viewing a peaceful sunset through the showroom’s floor to ceiling windows that looked out over the Hudson.


The event featured James Dyson himself introducing the world to the future of fans, a future uninhibited by cumbersome blades chopping the wind and protective grates serving as dust catchers. The Air Multiplier™ strays from the 125-year trend of fans resembling a propeller and appears quite unassumingly as a vertical hoop, placed atop a base or pillar. Its simple appearance makes it both attractive and welcoming.
