Saks Fifth Avenue CEO Steve Sadove and Evelyn Lauder hosted an intimate luncheon as Café SFA to kick off the Key to a Cure Shopping Weekend. The shopping weekend takes place from October 15th to the 18th at all Saks retail stores nationwide and online at saks.com.  

The purpose of this event is to raise money for women’s charities, both nationally and locally. A percentage of the weekend’s sales will be donated to various charities and Saks will also donate $500,000 to Evelyn Lauder’s Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Since the shopping weekend’s inception in 1999, Saks has donated over $32 million to women’s cancer research and treatment organizations throughout the United States.


The kickoff welcomed such guests as Emmy Rossum, Becki Newton, Sela Ward, Lauren Bush, Olivia Chantecaille, Marjorie Gubelmann, Lizzie Tisch, Suzy Johnson, Anne Grauso, Jennifer Creel, Charlotte Ronson, Deborah Roberts and Lauren Remington Platt.
