Bloomingdale’s teams with Young Indies Films, LLC to create BFLIX, a new and innovative approach to advertising through short films. Young writers and directors take center stage this fall as Bloomingdale’s commissioned five filmmakers to show their shorts throughout the store’s retail locations.

The films, all three to five minutes in length, were all shot in New York and cover generational relationships and romance. They are a way to supplement Bloomingdale’s Fall fashion campaign entitled “Light’s; Cameras; Fashion”. In its partnership with Young Indies Films. LLC, Bloomingdale’s is taking steps to nurture independent films, up and coming directors and reach out to its customers through a different artistic medium.
