On Wednesday, October 14, 2009, El Museo Del Barrio held a dinner for their benefactors to celebrate the grand opening and preview of their inaugural
exhibitions. An elegant and colorful crowd gathered at long tables in their Fifth Avenue location for cocktails, dinner and entertainment.

Guests were treated to a live Spanish guitar performance and, also, a full band. Bacardi drinks were plentiful with a large selection of their various spirits available at the bar. At dinner, guests were also addressed by Dr. JuliánZugazagoitia, director and CEO of El
Museo del Barrio, and Tony Bechara, Chair,
Board of Trustess, El Museo del Barrio, who thanked all for their support.

El Museo Del Barrio was founded 40 years ago and welcomes all visitors to experience the artistic and cultural richness of Latino cultures.
