On Wednesday, October 14, 2009, Moschino, “Vogue” Magazine and the Whitney Contemporaries invited guests to join them for an exclusive preview of the Moschino Spring 2010 collection. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served from 7 PM to 9 PM at the chic Moschino Boutique on 14th Street at 9th Avenue in New York City.
 

 

The event was hosted by Allison Aston, Maggie Betts, Coco Brandolini, Melissa Gellman Weiss, Adam Lippes and Harley Viera Newton and featured a special window installation by artist Ryan Humphrey entitled “Darkness at Sunrise”.

 

Italian-based Moschino was founded in 1983 by Franco Moschino and has expanded to include a number of specialty lines. They have long been known for their tongue-in-cheek approach to fashion, often directly confronting cultural and social concepts in their designs.
