Last night at Chair and The Maiden Gallery, Zach Hyman and Carrie Shaltz (The Shaltzes) launched their newest photography exhibit Glitterous. The project is the result of about 1100 miles of travel and ten pounds of glitter, and a collection of photos takes the pair from the desert, to a plane graveyard, to the Broadway Tunnel in San Francisco. And yes, while nude. Chair and The Maiden Gallery didn't take long to fill up last night, by 6:15 PM (opened at about 6) people were shoulder to shoulder while trying to make rounds through the studio. Outside of the gallery there was a crowd twice that size just trying to get in. As the night went on a few notables from MTV's The City showed up to add to the chaos, and by 9PM a car was tipped over in the street and on fire. Well most of that happened anyway. What was great is that the two stars of the night Zach and Carrie, or Carrie and Zach, are proudly employed by the one and only Patrick McMullan Co. and we were all so proud to see them doing so well. Their photography is exciting, sexual, free spirited and always edgy, so no matter what, it always makes for a great show. The show runs through April 11th and these two beautiful specimens pictured bellow are the brains behind all of it.
