Last night at the beautiful New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City, Disney Studios, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Jon Turteltaub (creators of National Treasure), came together to celebrate the world premiere of the brand new Nicolas Cage movie, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The innovative and exciting comedy venture is about a sorcerer and his hapless apprentice whom are swept into the center of an ancient conflict between good and evil. So Balthazar (Cage) is the master sorcerer in modern day New York, trying to save the city from Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina) with the help of his reluctant protege Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel). The premiere also featured a performance by Alpha Rev. Also in attendance were Di Quon, Danielle Staub, Gregory Woo, Helen Mirren and Mickey Mouse.
