El Museo del Barrio GALA AT CIPRIANI, a Salute to Narciso Rodriquez:
A gorgeous, energetic crowd gathered at Cipriani to honor the multi-talented designer, Narciso Rodriguez and philanthropist Yaz Hernandez. In a sea of fabulous evening gowns, Isabel Toledo, the ever-elegant Carolina Herrera, Fe Fendi, and Jean Shafiroff, who made a last-but-not least grand entrance, caught my eye.

FRIEZE ART FAIR at Randall's Island:
After hugely-successful years, Frieze's indefatible founders chose the rarely-visited Randall's Island for its NY art fair inauguration, An enthusiastic art crowd ferried from Manhattan's East side (shades of Venice) to Randall's island to visit 182 galleries housed within a mammoth, light-filled tent, dine at top eateries (the Fat Radish was one of my faces), and delight in site-specific sculptures. Ran into Amanda Wilkinson who owns the huge, minimally -designed Wilkinson Gallery in London who was" more- than-pleased with NY FRIEZE.
