On Saturday, August 14th, Caitlin and John Tashjian hosted the fourth annual “Hamptons Hoedown” at their home in East Hampton to celebrate John’s 40th birthday. Guests sported their best western duds and rode dueling mechanical bulls, played beer pong, and enjoyed a bull-shaped ice luge under a tent decorated with red, white and blue lanterns. The hotly-contested annual “bull riding championship” was won by Danell Vance, who took the Hoedown Trophy with her back to Los Angeles. Guests dined on a hoedown menu that featured corn dogs, pulled pork and barbecue ribs, all prepared by barbecue-master, Rich Chinitz. Toward the end of the evening, Caitlin presented John with a DJ turntable-shaped birthday cake. After blowing out the candles, John took his place behind two real turntables and spun tunes as guests danced the night away.
