On Thursday, Feb 17th Joanna Mastroianni showed her Fall 2011 Collection in the building of her West 30 something showroom. Possibly the most well-executed show of the season, it is no surprise that Mastorianni showed the final day of New York's famed Fashion Week.

The collection, inspired by iconic American Photographer Lillian Bassman, is particularly exciting. Mastroianni focused on Lillian's fantastic black and white photographs, many of them taken during her tenure at "Harpers Bazaar". Mastroianni turned them into a glorious, glamorous, feminine collection of one-of-a kind garments.

For the self-assured woman, who is "meticulously elegant", the collection is comprised of classic black and white looks fused with vibrant metallics. Malik So Chic

TV Personality Malik So Chic, formerly of the CW's High Society, launched his soon-to- be eponymous handbag line, Pampered Royale, on Tuesday, February 8th. MSC (short for "Malik So Chic"), is the latest of the New York City's club kids to hit the big time. The designer's new line of whimsical luxury totes were a perfect match for the evening's red carpet style.

A mini-display showed off the luxury totes, currently available in two sizes: Large is 11.5 x 14; Small measures 6.5 x 6. Each is available immediately in 9 styles, via personal order . Expect to see the line in stores by Fall 2011. The fabrics? A combination of faux fur, speciality and embossed vinyls, laser-embossed leathers, glazed leathers, ultra suedes, embroidered sequins and real ostrich feathers.

The collection was inspired by the New York social scene, combined with the downtown nightlife scene.
