Comedy for a cause is ALWAYS a good thing, isn't it? Well, when veteran comic and PMC shutterbug Jimi Celeste has anything to do with it, it’s ALWAYS good.  Last night, New York City animal lovers united to “Sit, Stay and Standup” at Chelsea's Comix, hosted by none other than Jimi Celeste.

Beginning with a rather generously timed cocktail reception, guests familiarized themselves with the ASPCA's dog and cat related info, calendars, and other fundraising items. By 7:30 pm, everyone made their way to their tables to take in the show.

This evening, a reasonably-priced fundraiser, contained a HOT bill showcasing the talents of comedians Jim Norton, Nick Di Paolo, Amy Schumer, Pete Correale, Lynne Koplitz, Marc Maron, Seth Herzog, Ben Bailey and Robert Kelly. Music came courtesy of the Enablers (featuring Adam Roth, Musical Director of “Rescue Me”)
