On Wednesday evening, October 11th, upon entry to the World Monuments Fund Gallery of the Prince George Ballroom, the 4th Annual Journey of Hope Gala opened with an uproar of both conversations and laughter. The Brain Injury Association of New York State, supported by Honorary Co-Chairs Penny Marshall and Lorraine Bracco, welcomed guests to the cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by an award presentation and dinner.

It was Monday afternoon, October 10th and an unusually temperate day. New York City's Cathedral of the Holy Trinity swelled from the presence of the city's most prominent members of society who came to pay their respects to their beloved Roger Webster.

New York Social and Journalist Roger Webster, a Greek American hailing from Minnesota (Webster was his nom de plume) was a greatly loved and cherished man. His funeral service, candid and steadfast, unearthed the breadth and depth of not only his accomplishments, but also of his life of tireless philanthropic commitments and selfless interactions with others.

On the afternoon of Saturday October 1st, the First Annual Pre-Walk Luncheon to Benefit Breast Cancer Hosted by Tabber Benedict & Tia Walker got under way. A select crowd of hipsters descended to the Soho residence of, Entrepreneur and former Classical Musician, Edward Scott Brady for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer fundraiser.

For several weeks Tabber Benedict, a New York based M& A Attorney, had planned the benefit luncheon to raise additional monies for the upcoming Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, slated for the upcoming weekend of October 15 & 16th.
