Who else is in the holiday spirit? I am! Just give me an excuse to shop and I don't even care if it's not for me. I am just in a giving type of mood. I just wanna give and give and give some more! I give sound advice, I give change to the army veterans ringing those happy little bells and best of all, I give clothes. Don't tell, but I always buy my little girlfriends summer wear that is maybe a smidge too small. Because I'm not just giving a cute little outfit from banana republic, I'm giving them a little bit of motivation too, surprise! I don't want my friends running around like plump little squirrels just because no one is going to see them under all those layers. Very few people get to see me when I'm sleeping (wink) but I still comb and

There are times in my life when I feel like I've died and gone to Louis Vuitton. For instance, back stage at Madonna; soaking in a mud bath, spritzers on the roof, you get it. It's similar to the concept of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (which isn't actually a food reference if you're scratching your head, it refers to more of an emotional state if you are yet to read the book) but better, because I came up with it. If I could spend eternity in the Louis Vuitton on Fifth Avenue I swear I would jump in front of the next car I saw. Well maybe not the first car. Something high-end of course, but not too bulky. If I'm going out I don't just want to get pummeled by a big, black Mercedes. I mean, a Mercedes ... Read More

I decided it is time to reinvent myself. And why not? I like to shake things up a bit and jump outside of my comfort zone for the sake of showing the world just how daring I can be. I've worn white after Labor Day; I've ordered white wine with a steak, and red with a seared Chilean sea bass. Heck, I even went to midtown last week for happy hour. I mean, gasp! Can you imagine me in midtown?! And I wasn't even lost. My friends, whom of course are also models, almost spat their appletinis all over the place when I told them that one. Midtown, God knows I wasn't there for the fashion tips, hair gel and pin stripes, party of everyone, OMG! Apparently I'm the only one these days not part of the Gambino crime family. ... Read More

Sadly my friends, it is nearing that time of year when we say goodbye to the beautiful summer and fall months and accept the reality that is winter. No more daiquiris at the club, no more walks along the beach on warm Long Island nights and sadly, no more long drives to the Hamptons with the top down on my red Volkswagen Cabrio. Just last week I took him back to Huntington to retire for the season. It was almost like he cried the whole ride out. "I'm sorry boy", I said, "there's always next year." It's true, the flowers once again will bloom, the birds will come back to sing and every day will be an occasion for wine spritzers on the roof. I miss it already.
Carlos FalchiSo as we all do, I sifted through my mounds of white linen garments and other
