The room was palpably writhing with New York’s sexiest club-goers, fashionistas and club cult stars as a plumply pregnant Lil Kim announced her comeback, performing her classics for MAC Invites You To The Blonds AW 14 Fashion Week After Party at Meatpacking’s exclusive new Gilded Lily nightclub.

It was difficult to find an inch of space, let alone entry for the many outside, in what felt like a basement speakeasy where the only entry is its inconspicuous street level elevator; but once descended and the doors open, we found ourselves in an anything-goes glamour grunge atmosphere of pure midnight reverie. In the keyhole shaped space, complete with a sunken dance floor left over from its former days as the 1970s Crisco Disco, all the familiar faces of Manhattan’s club cult coterie were peppered about: Phillipe Blond in a definably characteristic gem-encrusted gold body suit complete with his ... Bold furs, striking trenches, thigh high boots and elegant, to near liquid, evening gowns pouring down the body were the focus for Donna Karan’s latest collection as the fashion elite and celebrities alike descended upon Wall St. for Donna Karan’s 30th Anniversary Fashion Show. Set in an interior stripped bare to its steel structure, the three power colors – black, white and red – dictated the night’s powerfully dramatic mood, evoking a sexy, totalitarian like fantasy world.

This militia of three then promptly marched on, followed directively by an army of femme fatales with the likes of Karlie Kloss, ... Read More

There wasn’t a sore eye in the room as a who’s who of top models beautified Midtown for The Daily Front Row’s Celebration of their First Model Issue. It was the party of the hour everyone had to be at – and be photographed at – and those who were lucky enough to be present were privileged with a groundbreaking announcement from the popular publication.

The in-demand invitees descended upon the elegant and trendy Harlow restaurant and bar, being captured first by the always desired lens of our Patrick McMullan – whom earlier went to task offering his keen event design sense, rearranging the room into its perfect feng shui. The red carpet was naturally the next step and with an endless list of flawless, photogenic faces, the paparazzi and their strobing flashes transformed the room into a rave-like experience. Gracing the carpet and crowd were the gorgeous Jessica Hart, ... Read More

Neighboring the soon-to-be new Condé Nast headquarters, international impresarios of fashion and culture joined the kings and queens of Condé for Anna Wintour and Christy Turlington Burns’ hosting of an evening of cocktails celebrating the new Condé Nast Traveler and Editor-in-Chief, Pilar Guzman. From the Publishers, editors and models all the way down to the friends and well-wishers, not a single hair was out of place or color mismatched as everyone in attendance dined on delicates, conversation and cocktails in the sharply modern space overlooking the future World Trade Center site in World Trade Center 7.

Donned with the woman of the evening, Pilar Guzman, Condé’s Queen Bee herself, Anna Wintour, arrived early bumping into our own Patrick McMullan in the lobby. Patrick graciously – and wisely – allowed the pair the first elevator up, intentionally avoiding any awkward elevator talk with one Mrs. Wintour, “With [Mrs. Wintour] it’s best saying ... Read More
