When I heard that the film Valentino: The Last Emperor was finally being released, I was uber excited! Unfortunately, I was not one of the lucky few who got to see it during the trés chic screening hosted by Gilt Groupe and Quintessentially on St. Patrick’s Day. So knowing that it was only playing at one theater, the small but adorable Film Forum on West Houston, I was on a mission to catch it opening weekend! I got up early that Saturday morning and literally ran (well to be fair, I incorporated a pass by the theater into my weekend jog) to get tickets in fear that it would sell-out.

Happy Spring...well, sort of

I had finally gotten completely sick of the hat, scarf and glove daily routine. It had been a LONG and FREEZING winter! Shadow or no shadow, I was over the Groundhog and every other depressing weather report

I have a tendency to go into what I like to call “winter hibernation mode.” Here, I look forward to staying-in on weekends, ordering Thai food from Spice, watching DVDs, eating Sour Patch Kids and passing-out on the couch, because the idea of motivating to go outside when the temperature is always below 25 degrees sounds dreadful! But enough was enough already

A friend of mine recently asked if she could set me up with a guy that she knew.
