When it comes to working out in the gym a lot of people have the misconception that lifting weights make you appear bulky. This is not true. If you are keeping within your daily caloric range and you are lifting weights along with your aerobic routine you are going to tone up not bulk up. I split up my routine into one large body part with one smaller body part throughout the week. For example I would do chest with shoulders, back with biceps and legs with triceps. I choose two different exercises for the small body parts (shoulders, biceps, triceps) and three different exercises for the large body parts (chest, back, legs).
