Rock and Roll's best of the best were out as Fuse presented the 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Monday March 15, 2010 at the Waldorf=Astoria (301 Park Avenue NYC 10022, 212.355.3000). This year's inductees included ABBA, Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, The Hollies, The Stooges, David Geffen, Jeff Barry & Ellie Greenwich, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, Jess Stone, Mort Shuman and Otis Blackwell. Break out your ball gowns and penguin suits, because the Harmony Program presented "A Winter's Waltz" on March 15, 2010 at The Pierre in NYC (2 East 61st Street NYC 10065). Guests were invited to an elegant evening of live music and dancing to benefit the Harmony Program, a nonprofit dedicated to providing intensive music instruction to students of New York City's public schools. A dazzling performance by the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony featured a selection of waltzes while professional ballroom dancers took to the illuminated grand ballroom, inspiring spectators to waltz their winter blues away. All were treated to a lively reception, followed by a dance demonstration and group lesson to help even first time waltzers feel at ease on the dance floor. No miracles were needed to draw a crowd to the opening night of Broadway's The Miracle Worker. On Wednesday, March 3, 2010, celebs lined the red carpet leading to the Circle in the Square Theater (234 W. 50th St NYC 10019, 212.307.0388) before taking their seats for the show's debut performance. An elegant group gathered at a party to celebrate Michael Musto's 25th Anniversary at the Village Voice thrown by Chip Duckett and hosted by Joan Rivers and Michael Urie on Thursday, March 2, 2010. During the evening, guests were treated to an open bar and a selection of delectable hors d'oeuvres at Steven Greenberg's swanky 20th floor penthouse of 230-Fifth Avenue and the adjoining rooftop. With a near full moon hanging in the distance, guests gathered on top of the Standard (848 Washington St NYC 10014, 212.645.4646) on March 1, 2010 for the Details 10th Anniversary Party. With chinchona and margarita cocktails by Patron and the musical stylings of David Abitbol (aka DJ Japanster) the party was quickly off to a good start. Around 9:45pm a hush passed through the crowd as Robin Thicke made his way to the piano to sing, among other things, happy birthday. While sparkler topped, Patron-infused cupcakes made their way through the crowd, Robin climbed on top of the piano for a toast.
