On Saturday, August 13th Caitlin and John Tashjian hosted the 5th annual “Hamptons Hoedown” at their home in East Hampton to celebrate Caitlin’s 40th birthday. Guests sported their best western duds and rode dueling mechanical bulls, played beer pong, and danced under tent decorated with red, white and blue lanterns. The hotly-contested annual “bull riding championship” was won by Liv Odegard, a native Texan, who used her Lonestar State riding skills to take home the Hoedown Trophy. Guests dined on a southern hoedown menu featuring pulled pork barbecue, ribs, smoked sausages and fried chicken all prepared by barbecue pit-master Rich Chinitz. After wishing Caitlin a happy birthday with a beach-themed cake, John (DJ Tash) took his place behind the turntables and spun tunes as guests danced the night away.
